Over the next few days, I'll be giving talks and attending dinners centered on heirloom grains. I got to sample beer made from my red fife, and boy was it delicious! Right now I get to enjoy a moment of reprieve at Mark Stambler's house, watching loaves of 100% Farmer Mai grain go into the oven. This is connection, this is community, this is a lovely life.
